 | | In an impersonal world dominated by cell phones, faxes, e-mails and the “latest and greatest,” there comes a breath of fresh air from the peak of the Smokies: Wasabi Publicity.
At Wasabi PR, Generation X meets old-fashioned PR. We turn back the clock and produce amazing results the time-honored way: one conversation at a time. We specialize in launching conversations: we tell your story to people who write the news, so your story becomes the news.
Proactive media relationship building is our skill and passion. Wasabi conveys professionalism, creativity, and sparkle to every campaign. While other PR firms simply provide press kits, media advisories, brochure copy and a media report, Wasabi gives you more. We build relationships that last and exceed our clients' expectations.
In addition to the traditional services you might expect from a PR firm, we provide an in-depth communications plan, technology tools, press connections and most importantly: results!
We work to empower businesses, organizations, communities and individuals to launch groundbreaking ideas and projects. Can we launch something for you?

Our expertise in relationship building allows you to keep the integrity of your message in place. The quality of Wasabi’s conversations and our ability to keep the core of your message consistent with your vision makes our service superior. That’s what you can count on. That’s what’s guaranteed.

 | | "We have been thrilled with the results. Our campaign with Wasabi was just getting underway when a thwarted terrorist attack at a British commercial airport broke in the news. Wasabi suggested we utilize the breaking news for our campaign because reporters would be looking for stories about how businesses in the US were affected. Our air taxi service enabled passengers to bypass long airport lines. Wasabi was right - the resulting media attention is impacting our business in a positive way. Thanks!” Wendi Hill, Marketing Director, SATSair Airline Taxi Service (www.satsair.presskit247.com)
“I have come to think of Wasabi Publicity as the Wizard of Oz: leanly and brilliantly staffed, they create a PR kingdom for you,” Stacy DeBroff, MomCentral Founder. (www.stacydebroff.presskit247.com)
“Wasabi makes it happen! In the beginning of Wasabi’s work with SOS Children’s Villages-USA, the non-profit was the little-known domestic branch of a well-known global organization. Within one year, SOS-USA, Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, was its spokesperson and one of its U.S. villages was featured on a national television program reaching millions of American families and a nationwide essay and art contest for children had been implemented,” Chris Zappia, International Communications Consultant and former SOS-USA Executive Director.
“Wasabi has a unique expertise that combines media relations and technology. Not only do they know how to develop your message and your campaign, but they know how to best get your story out there, especially online,” Kate Walling, Founder and President of Secret Ingredients™. "The Wasabi team are more than just publicists -- they become trusted advisors. I am impressed by their energy, responsiveness, integrity, and savvy." Anna Ivey, Admissions and Career Counselor (www.annaivey.presskit247.com)
"Everything about what you have accomplished in just these short months has surpassed our expectations. I spent the last few years plus my ENTIRE summer trying to learn to do what you do -- PR is truly an art form. Yes,one can do their own PR, but it pays for itself ten times over to hire a professional team. I only wish I would have invested in our PR sooner. We're can't wait to see what you might bring us next week : )!," Anne Gaskell, (www.santaspeaking.presskit247.com)
"There is no company like Wasabi. Life with Wasabi is simple...walk your fingers through Press Kit 24/7 and relax! I do." Robin Mednick, Sirius Satellite Radio Producer, "The Good Life Show"
Wasabi PR is so effective in launching communications, we stand behind our results. Most people think the media actually cares about your product or cause. Here's a news flash: They only care about information they can use to attract loyal viewers, readers and listeners. Want PR? Give the media something they can use. This takes time. Magazines work six months in advance and newspapers need leads 2-4 weeks ahead of the event. Even though all clients want results now, the media will only quote and mention you, your product or your cause when they find a fit with their news coverage. Sometimes this happens immediately. Other times it might take a full year. Wasabi realizes its clients may have budgets to consider, so we've developed many products to serve a variety of needs. Plan on at least a year-long program; otherwise you won't give PR enough time to season properly. Whether you do it yourself of have us do it, the key to results will be relentless follow-up and keeping you "top-of-mind" in the media's eye. They're very busy and it's our job to make life easier for them. The only way to win is consistent outreach. Here's a summary of what we offer:
"The Wasabi Club and PR Shop" (PR shop talk; listen & learn): FREE
"PressKit 24/7" (Blue Kangaroo, LLC's online press kit technology & online contact database management system): $99-$199/month
